It’s okay to be a little selfish.
When you’re a single parent, it’s easy to get wrapped up in your child’s life and forget about your own. But it’s important to remember that you need to take care of yourself, too. If you don’t, you won’t be able to take care of your child.
It’s often hard to take time for yourself. But it’s important to remember that you can’t take care of anyone else if you don’t take care of yourself first. So, make sure to schedule some time each week to do something.
For example, I like to go to the gym, read a book, or take a bath and relax. That way, I can recharge and be ready to take on whatever the week throws at me.
It doesn’t matter what people say.
When you’re a single parent, there will be people who judge you. They’ll say things like “you’re too young to be a mom” or “you should have never been pregnant.”
But the thing is, it doesn’t matter what they say. What matters is what you know in your heart, and you know that you’re doing the best job you can.
People will have opinions about you and your parenting skills, no matter what. But the most important thing is that you listen to your gut and do what you think is best for your child.
There’s no right or wrong way to parent. As long as you’re doing your best and putting your child first, that’s all that matters.
