As a woman, I know how hard it is to find time in your busy schedule to take care of yourself. We are always juggling between work and family life, which can leave little room for self-care. Here are 10 things you should do in your free time that will make you feel like the real version of yourself again!

Take up a New Hobby

I love taking up a new hobby. It is so much fun learning to do something you’ve never done before. There are so many hobbies out there to choose from, the possibilities are endless! I was never interested in paddleboarding until my friend invited me along one weekend and now I’m hooked! If paddleboarding isn’t your thing, try something else, you’ll be surprised at how much fun it could turn out to be.

A new hobby could be baking, reading, painting, etc. It’s even better when you can enjoy it with friends because this way you’ll get to bond while having fun at the same time.

Having a hobby will not only pass the time, but it can also be good for your health. When you are so caught up in training and working out, sometimes it’s easy to lose yourself along the way.

One of my favorite hobbies is painting. It’s just so relaxing and refreshing to do something different than training all the time.

Get on Social Media Less

It’s no secret that social media can be addicting. And for some people, it can be hard to stay off of it. I’m not saying that you should completely abstain from social media, but try to limit your time on it.

Excessive use of social media can lead to anxiety and depression. It can also make you feel bad about yourself because you’re constantly comparing yourself to others.

If you find that you’re struggling with this, try deleting the apps from your phone or computer so you’re not as tempted to use them. You can always reinstall them later if you find that you need them.

Once you get off social media, you’ll find out how much more time you have to focus on other things.

Get in Shape by Working out, Going for Walks or Swimming

When you’re so caught up in training and work, it can be easy to lose track of the time. This is why it’s nice to have a hobby that involves being physically active. By working out or going on walks, you are taking care of yourself which will also increase your overall mood. In addition to this, working out has been shown to help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. It can also help improve your sleep quality.

If you’re not used to it, start off small by doing a few simple exercises at home. You can also join a gym or go for walks with friends or go for a swim.

Swimming provides many health benefits such as improved cardiovascular conditioning and toning of muscles. It can also help in weight loss! If you don’t have a pool at your disposal, find a large body of water nearby and go for a swim.

Just make sure you stay active!!
